The National Center for Technological Progress (in short called the Center) is an agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology (in short called the Ministry), which assists the Minister to fulfill functions of research, training, use and development in manufacturing and life high technologies, new technologies in fields of information technology, biology technology, new material technology, automation technology, environment technology, laser, ultra-red, micro-electronics, photonics, photoelectronics and biomedical technology.
The Center has an international transaction name of National Center for Technological Progress, abbreviated as NACENTECH.
