Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (in short called VARANS) is an agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology, which assists the Minister to fulfill State management functions in terms of radiation safety, nuclear safety; security of radio-activity sources, nuclear materials, nuclear units; nuclear control and implement professional activities in order to fulfill the above-mentioned functions.
The Agency has the international transaction name of Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety, abbreviated as VARANS.
The Agency has its legal status; own stamp and can open accounts of domestic and foreign currency at the State Treasury and Bank.
The head quarter of Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety is located in Hanoi City.
