In scientific research, the team is not only a place to gather many working individuals but also a place to gather, foster and promote the collective intelligence in order to enhance mutual assistance. Thereby, it creates the strong research groups as well as gain achieve outstanding research outcomes. However, with the Vietnamese researchers community, especially young researchers, teamwork is a problem and an obstacle; difficulties in communication, conflicts managing and inconsistency resolution.
Recognizing these reality difficulties, the Center for Vietnam Science and Technology International Promotion has organized a training course on teamwork skills in scientific research that aimed to support researchers to improve their working skills to become the effective teamworks. Therefore, the capacity of international integration on science and technology of S&T institutions as well as the researchers will be enhanced, especially when conducting research cooperation activities with scientists around the world.
Participants at the training course are mostly researchers from universities, research institutes, S&T institutions under the ministries and branches of Vietnam such as: Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs …

The training course focused on building an effective teamwork, to make policy and solutions for developing strong research teamwork, normal research team work as well as resolving the conflicts between members of teamwork under the guidance and teaching of Dr Tran Van Trang (Thuong Mai University ), Assoc.Prof- Dr... Le Trung Thanh (University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University Ha Noi) and Assoc.Prof- Dr Le Thi Minh Loan (University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University Hanoi).
The trainees participated in many group work activities as well as experience conflicts resolution challenges. At the end of the training course, the trainees highly appreciated the purposes and contents of the teaching.
