Mr. Nguyen Van An, Consultant Team Leader reporting the implementation results.
Mr. Nguyen Van An, Consultant Team Leader of Ha Noi University of Science and Technology presented summarized contents of the research report, including: Requirements of the Project, implemented tasks with the main research results along with recommendations for the enterprise based on the current status of energy use and energy supply system of the plant, energy efficiency and environment after implementing energy-saving solutions and opportunities for replication.
Consultant Bui Danh Dai of the National University of Civil Engineering mentioned some requirements on the quality and quantity of input materials that need more attention to and stabilization in the production process, proposed to use waste gypsum from thermal power plants with good quality, use additional materials like fly ash or blast furnace slag in producing aerated concrete and non-fired building material products... At present, Viglacera plant has also carried out the improvement of the technological line and has tested the mix design, used autoclaved aerated waste products and use fly ash to replace the sand.
According to Mr. Vo Quang Diem, Project’s Building Material Specialist: Viglacera not only benefited from direct support of technical consultancy to improve efficiency of production and energy use, but also benefited from the Project’s support for review of 2 standards for lightweight concrete and wall panels; development of 3 standards for wall panels, reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete which are being accepted for issuance, very necessary for Viglacera and autoclaved aerated concrete manufacturing sub-sector to bring products to the market.
Regarding the improvement of production efficiency, product quality as well as energy efficiency, PMU highly appreciated the consultancy results of Consultants, most of the recommendations have been implemented by the plants, improved product quality have brought AAC of Viglacera to a new level, contributing to reducing environmental pressure for thermal power plants.
On behalf of Viglacera, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Plant Director thanked and highly appreciated the support of the Project, which is very necessary and brings practical and specific results to the plant. “Energy audit report as well as assessment of the current state, proposed solutions to improve product quality and production efficiency of the plant are the basis for the Company to modernize and increase the capacity of the plant from 100,000m3/year to 200,000m3/year and improve product quality. These have been carried out by Viglacera in this investment project and the most of technical proposals of the consultants have been implemented by Viglacera”, said by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hau, Director General of Department of Science and Technology for economic and technical branches, Project Director speaking at the meeting.
According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hau, Director General of Department of Science and Technology for economic and technical branches, Ministry of Science and Technology, Project Director, with the trend of ACC lightweight bricks having more and more opportunities to develop in the market, it is necessary to continue to strictly control the quality of products, especially input materials and to avoid losses. The Ministry of Science and Technology and the PMU will continue to accompany and support Viglacera in the application and innovation of technology to improve productivity, product quality.
