The participants of the Conference are Mr. Pham Dai Duong, Vice Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology; Mr Lee Byung Gwon, President of Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST); Ms Lee Mi Kyung, President of Korean Organisation of International Cooperation Agency (KOICA); Mr Won Kwang Yeon, President of National Committee of Science and Technology (NST) and delegators such as Vietnam, Korean Enterprises in Information technology and Biotechnology.
Vietnam-Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST) is a public science and technology agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology established through the joint project between Vietnam and Korea Government with the mission: “Becoming a top institute in research applied science and develop advanced technologies relating to the industry and stable economic growth”.
VKIST is the first R&D Institute of Vietnam built based on the model Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), is expected to be – a technology solution provider for market leaders, becoming a boosting motivation for the economy and technology that is market oriented can be transferred into economies, industries and satisfy the practical need of Vietnam enterprises.
Besides, Vietnam is an important strategic partner to Korea especially in information technology, biotechnology, digital communication, automation and agriculture.
This is the first “Building Global Partnership” event that VKIST, together organise with Vietnam Associations is the connecting bridge between industries and universities, institutes of Vietnam – Korea and global international partners.
Korean Enterprises in the Event are Enterprises mainly from Information Technology and Biotechnology, robotics, cosmetics… with advanced technology basis to manufacture their own products.
Currently, VKIST is the connection hub for Vietnam – Korea enterprises through conferences, seminars and quarterly forums. This event is organized with the purpose of building long term partnership in order to expand Vietnam market and boost the economy of both countries.
The event “Building Global Partnership” with VKIST will enhance cooperation and assist Korean and Vietnam companies to expand their business to a new level.
