With the witness of many leaders of agencies under the two Governments, representative leaders from Ministries and branches, enterprise of the two countries have signed some important cooperation documents during the official visit of French President François Hollande to Viet Nam.
Within the framework of this event, Deputy Minister Trần Quốc Khánh, the representative of the Ministry of Science and Technology, together with Mr. Jean Noël Poirier, French Ambassador in Viet Nam – the authorized representative of French Ministry of National Education, University Training and Research, signed the Statement of Interest for Cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Ministry of National Education, University Training and Research of the French Republic. The Statement affirms determination of the two agencies under the Governments in promoting surveys and exchange to understand each other and work out together cooperation directions and plans in the future … In the context that the framework of ongoing cooperation programs is not appropriate with current management regulations and can’t mobilize potentials of research communities of the two countries, this would be the stepping stone for the agencies to promote, renew and leverage cooperation activities in the S&T field.
In addition, among the signed documents on the occasion there some remarkable ones were the Statement for supporting French teaching in Viet Nam between the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of External Affairs and International Development of the French Republic; the Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Justice of the French Republic for the 2016 -2017 period; the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Center for High-level Training under the French Ministry of Interior Affairs; the Letter of Intent on Air Traffic Management between Viet Nam Air Traffic Management Corporation and Airbus…
