Participating in the Meeting were experts from IAEA, the US and representatives from Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Delivering the opening speech in the Workshop, Deputy Director Duong Quoc Hung emphasized that human factor has always played an important role in agencies and organizations, especially for regulatory agencies. The Deputy Director also highly appreciated IAEA’s support within the ANSN’s framework for member countries in general and for Vietnam in particular in the human resource development. This Workshop was a good opportunity for ANSN member countries to discuss, share information and their practical experience and future plans on knowledge management and especially on policies on recruitment, development and retaining of talented staff for regulatory agencies.
